self explanatory title..

you know you love skiing when, you make perfect tables out of your ice cream or mash potatoes

fail a class cuz you daydream too much and cant really focus on anything other than skiing.

when you ski more days during the winter than you acctually go to school

you pray for rain in town because you know up there it will be snow!

ill post more as i come up with them .. but im sure im not the only one with these kinds of stories :P

When you go to the beach and instead of swim or make sand castles you make sand chad gaps and barrel jibs out of cans....or if everything you try on the trampoline you think you could do easily on snow

....when you drop out of college after 4 years because you ski way too damn much and move away and start a new life in new mountains, and long ago it became clear that all you ever care to do is ski, ski, ski, and do whatever work neccessary to make that happen, every day, every winter, till i can't physically do it any more....

during p.e. we had to jump on these boxes and i was doing 270s on and off them and i got in trouble but it was worht it

When you send skiing videos to your non-skiing friends and try to get them stoked on skiing, or think about who would make a sick skier.
When you think about skiing and start to get upset because the season is still a month away.
When you go out of your way to try to find indoor ski areas.
When you're given an assignment to write about a celebrity, and you write about Grete Eliassen.. or when you can't think of what to write and fall back on a skiing-related topic.

When you start learning a new language, and the first few words you look up are the ever-important snow, skiing, and winter-related words. then you bookmark that dictionary page and highlight the words.

and with outerwear... it could be the middle of summer and ill be waitin for a jacket to get here and as soon as it does, i throw it on and see how it look with all my ski gear on

-The sole reason you're going to vote is because you have to go home anyways to pick up your ski equipment

-you get a text from a friend saying her car was stuck in a ditch driving home because the snow was falling and your first thought is, "SNOW!" followed by "I wonder if Jay is getting snow?" followed by, "So, how much snow was it?" followed by, "Are you ok?" - in that exact order (this happened tonight)

-you call your best friends' cell phones and scream, "SNOW!" into their voicemails

-you spend 4 and 1/2 years in college only to get out and technically not use your degree

-you make super low wages working for one of the largest snow sports websites on the Internet and still think it's the greatest 'job' on earth


I'd like to point out all of those occurrences happened today.
