Ive never base jumped but id like to try but first I'd like to get a few more sky dives in.

I want to so bad, but they say you should have at least 100 sky dives in your belt before you base jump. I'm guessing that's so you don't die.

I just started to skydive last saturday i did my first 3 jumps for my birthday im hoping by the summer to have atleast two more.

shane mc conkey did a backflip on skis off a 635 foot cliff with BASE gear on. its in the new freeze.

I was in the petting zoo, or as I like to call it, the touch me zoo this afternoon. All the animals were retarded. Some lady was breast feeding her baby on a bench nearby, an obvious signal. I sat down uncomfortably close to her and yawned my arm around her shoulder. In her attempt to squirm away, she dropped her baby on the ground. I pretended I was concerned for a second, then I punted it over the fence. She still didn't seem interested in me. Whatever.

BASE=bridge (or building), antenna, span and expansion jumping. you climb up something really, really high and jump off it with your parachute gear on

Yes, the E does stand for earth. I can't wait til I can do it. Hopefully I can convince Sarah to do it with me. Most likely. If anyone has seen Ski Movie 2 High Society, there is a whole segment in there of base jumping up in Baffin Island

Some dude died recently attempting a base jump or sky dive when he misjudged it and hit a railing on a bridge. Think he was a professional and he had said before that he knew one day the sport would kill him.

That was Dwain Weston, an Aussie and the best in the world. Below is a link to really good article he wrote mid last year.

He was as calculated as anyone, but yeah, he knew it would happen eventually. He hit a bridge in Colorado, he jumped with a mate, the mate went under the bridge and Dwain was meant to go over it (they had superman suits on) but he got closer than he should have (he changed direction) and his knees clipped the railing (there was a massive dent in the railing). Died on impact. If he was a couple of feet higher he would have made it over.
