would work fine, 170 might be better if hes still growing or a decent skier

You need to tell us these things.  They're all factors.  It'll help give the best recommendation.

Anyways, yeah, he could probably do, but depending on ^these answers, he can probs do 170, like said above.

yah shoot for 163-170
if hes not real confortable on longer skis mid 60's
but if hes doing park then definetely 170's because the centered stance will reduce the overall length on each side of him.
