My fun fact of the day is that when a blue whale ejaculates it releases over 400 GALLONS (1500 litres) of sperm!!! but only 10% of that makes it into its mate. so 360 gallons of whale sperm gets released into the ocean everytime a whale unloads.

thats like 15 standard bathtubs, in other words enough for 60 fat dogs to take a bath.

assuming that a litre of whale sperm weighs around 1kg, he shoots 1 and a half ton into the water/whale chick. that is around 1% of his body weight (130-200 t). so, in human terms, (weighing 77 kg) i would have to fill a fucking bottle of wine with one load. i call bullshit on this fact, the image doesnt show a blue whale neither. they are over 30 m long and not dotted.

i hate when these facts get busted
