Hey guy I was just wanting to get into photography because it looks dope and I have always wanted to take some pictures but never had the camera or equipment to do so.
So if you guys could suggest a relatively cheap good beginner camera.
I have NO idea what I am looking for in a camera but it would prolly be used for mostly skiing/action pictures and just random sweet nature pictures and stuff.
If you need any more info or have any questions just post them in here..
Thanks for you help!

it was on the first page, but whatever. read that though, it has a lot of good info.
i was just in the same boat, and was looking at the d40 and reble xti, so if your looking for a cam around 500, that is probably where you will end up if you want it new (i got the d40 for 450 with a lens kit and 4 gig card because its cheaper than the xti)

its best to go with film when your learning because it makes you think more about each shot, so i would say pentax k1000 and when you upgrade to digi you can take your lenses to because pentax hasent changed there mount in a while, and pentax digi bodies are preety good.

definatly start with film. a) u learn more aspects of photography and like said above, you really think about each shot. b) the cameras are way cheaper these days. if you went to your local camera store and asked about good 2nd hand cameras they would set you on the right track. they would probably also have somthing there thatd be cheap for u!
