yeah, the Blue Steele is the park ski, with design input from David Steele, hence the name, we were limited on what we could build, 179 worked well for all of us so that was what was made. We would love to make a few smaller sizes as well as possibly a larger sized park ski for the bigger folk.

Basically the concept was to build a symmetrical park ski with the damp/poppy characteristics of my Wrenegades, and with a longer turn radius than some other skis out there.

Ideally, I'd like to do a 186 (because tall people need park skis too), 179 (already exists), 169, and maybe a 159.

As soon as I get my pair, there will be shreddage and a review.

just an opinion but, the idea of a very fat symmetrical park ski (similar to the Line Elizabeth) sounds like a good idea. I like the idea of throwing in a litlle bit of rocker too, but not as much as your caylor! (awsome looking ski) Here are some ideas for dimensions:

135/112/135 @ 174cm

it just an opinion for another ski, i have yet to demo ON3P due to the fact i live in the mid-west, but i cant wait to try them, out!

Not trying to hate but what is the point of a fat park ski? I guess I've never skied a fat ski in park so I cant really base my opinion off of that but I just dont get it.

how bout something inbetween the blue steele and the 179 Custom

like a 179 with a 95+ waist and a nice widish tip. Something that can go on piste well thats not only park (blue steeles are much more park oriented) and thats not to fat underfoot. something that can rip at high speeds on groomers, that can throw down in the park, and that can handle the BC

New Jeronimo fills that gap.  We are dropping the current jmo shape and just adding a 181cm caylor.

then the new jeronimo will be....

181cm, 171cm.  I have not finalized the exact shape, but it is looking like it will be 96 underfoot, 22m turn radius (181), rockered tip and tail (25cm, but low rocker), and a mount around -3cm from center.

Blue Steeles need to be longer and stiffer. It would be cool to have a park ski thats not center mounted as well.

well our 181cm skis are really 184cm, so it is a 184cm park ski basically.

and it is not super soft.  I have been skiing mine with no issue out of the park (which was a shock to me at first).

And there will be a 181/171 jeronimo, 96 underfoot, slight tip and tail rocker, mount -3cm from center, for those wanting park and all mountain performance

Are the Blue Steeles David was skiing on the 184? They just seemed way to short. Maybe it was the huge tip and tail rise.

center mount definitely makes them feel that way.  Also the reason I added 2cm.

His pair was not that stiff, either.

I'm considering 181 Jeronimos.  I have a couple questions:

At 6'4" 180 and a pretty aggresive skier, is this long enough with the rocker?  I have 0 experience with rockered skis, so that's why I'm wondering. I'm on 174 PEs now, so I'm used to shorter skis, but a 102 running length seems kinda short.

How do they hold up in moguls?  At Penn State my options for varied skiing are pretty limited, but from what I've heard there's a decent mogul run and a decent park (decent by local standards), so I'm going to need something that can handle both.

I've considered Blue Steele's as well, but I dunno if I'm in the park enough to warrant symmetrical skis with a center mount.

yeah 6'4" people skiing on3ps!

rocker is like a drop axel on a dump truck.  down when needed.  up when it ain't.

^ sam caylor is a few inches shorter than you and maybe a few pounds heavier, and he rocked the jmo's the last half of this year. his screename is caylor.
