Claim was an epic movie for shure,, but for my personal taste: to much big mountain, like 85 % of the movie was pure BM..
would like to see MSP do some more park-filmin this year.

don't mean to be a downer here but i don't think claim had shit on turbo or reasons.

Overall the skiing was good but i just didn't think the production was that great.

Alright first, whomever said that he was disappointed with the lack of "park skiing" needs to learn a thing or two. Um in reality what the movie lacked was switch pow landings and progressive tricks in the backcountry. They definitely could have thrown in some urban stuff to mix it up too. Park jumps just aren't cool although "park tricks" in the BC are uber-rad. This was in no way MSP's best. I gotta say Poorboyz and MSP struck out for me this year. TGR had a dope movie if you like crazy lines. It definitely blew Claim out of the water in the field except for the crazy french Matterhorn line.

French...Matterhorn line....? How's your geography?

For the record, I have yet to see any of this year's movies but regardless, I wouldn't expect many switch landings in pow in an msp movie. Their backcountry guys- Hjorleifson, Heim, Harrison, Kaj, Ingrid etc are all what I would call 'directional' big mtn riders which in my opinion, done well, is just as dope. You want switch pow, buy theory 3's movies. You want urban, buy level 1. You want the gnarliest lines in AK at warp speed, buy tgr. You want the best cinematography and editing, buy field prods. You want mellow pow and more switch landings, get nimbus.

What I love MSp movies for is the mix of epic big mtn shots, perfect jumps made for park superstars, cool soundtrack and feelgood vibe. If you expect much/any of the other areas I listed above then sure, yyou'll be disappointed, but don't blame msp for not wanting to be the same as level 1 or theory 3.

Bottom line, buy them all for maximum and multilateral stoke!!

word, i fully agree even though i havent seen reasons and want to badly i saw claim and it definitely isnt even comparable to turbo.

dont get me wrong claim is an alright movie just not the best.

In my personal opinion they claimed a whole lot more than they should have. Saw it last night. Was not a fan. I mean i guess it depends what type of skiing you like. If you are into making turns down steeps for 60 minutes you will LOVE THE MOVIE...now if you are more of a park person you will find the movie far from entertaining. There was not one rail. Colby west in my mind was the best skier in the entire movie. To hyped for movie.

i take gymnastics lessons, i kno what i'm doin.  if a gymnastics coach tells me that im good enough to do backflips on concrete then i think that i am.  i dont do stupid shit that i cant handle.  like right now im learning gainers and sideflips, but im gonna keep them in the gym with a spot until he says i hav them solid and can do them on my own

sorry for the dub post but also, hav u ever been stopped while skiing by some dude who tells u ur out of control and need to slow down cus ur gonna hurt urself?  doesnt it piss u off cus u kno what ur doing and are not gonna get hurt? well they're kinda the same thing.  just cus i can do something that most people cant do, doesnt mean its not safe for me to do it.  skiing is much more dangerous than gymnastics.

you are a blind viewer and a retard too. this is not an accurate review. no substantial footage, sammy has three or four sw9s, a dub flip landed perfect in pow, and tons more. simon has a dozen or so bc jump pow shots. durtschi has forward and sw10 and greatness from AK. spriggs has everything. abma has some of his best footage to date. andreas has new dubs and best angles. pep crushes....and the list goes on. best pbp film to date. just to reintroduce my opinion of you: you are a retard with horrible viewing and reviewing skills. go waste your $15 on CLAIM like your mom should have wasted $15 on birth control to prevent you.

well gunsnfuck referred to them as "haphazard" so i assume that he was questioning my abilty to do them.  and the fact that is said that i should get hit in the jaw with a sock full of nails mid flip is really just a dick thing to say.  i dont really care about the guys who laughed at it, but when u tell me that i should get hit in the jaw with a sock full of nails, then of course im gonna get defensive.  i might have misinterpreted his comment as questioning my ability, but that is why i made that post.

i regret posting that i would do backflips in the first place, because it seems like i can't do something that i thought people might think is impressive without getting hated on.  i dont mind a joke or 2, but gunsnfuck was a little out of hand.  as u can see i didnt hate on any one else's post but his.  i'm sorry for not being exactly like u want everyone to be, that i do something different than other people.  and i'm sorry that i stand up for myself.  in my experience people usually think backflips r cool, and will cheer u for it, im sorry for liking it when people cheer for me.  i guess im just a douche because of these things.
