So I live in Bremerton WA, where I'm one of two rollerbladers in the county... trust me, I checked on www.bladewa.com
Anyway, there is a local city park where I normally go skate because I'm too old to searching for spots. I skate xsjados where are the slowest skates ever for souls. So I wax the hell out of all the ledges in the park and I'm just barely comfortably sliding all my soul related tricks.
A bunch of skateboarders show up and start trying the ledges and keep sliding out. I keep getting dirty looks because they know it was me that waxed the ledges, but I couldn't give a fuck because I got my shit down.
Moral of the story, skateboarders can't grind waxed ledges.... because they suck.
cool story hansel!

Sorry, I don't think the hour long commute for a 3 hour session would be worth it.

the most important thing about the skate barn, (other than the fact that it is fricking gigantic) is that there are quite a bit of aggressive inliners there and quite a few scooterers. Actually, there is probably more inliners and scooterers than skaters there. :P

Skaters can grind waxed ledges they just need to get used to it. I always use to wax ledges so that they were as slick as a box and thats the way it should be. Now I roll and can slide pretty easily/
