A good friend of ours, Mikey Aitken took a hard crash on his bike last weekend in PA while filming for an upcoming film. He is still in a coma, however, things are looking up and Mikey is showing signs of improvement. He obviously has a world of fans and friends praying for him and it seems to be working - so let's all keep praying!
In the meantime, doctor bills are stacking like crazy and the Aitken's are going to need as much help as possible. A lot of you know that I personally have deep roots in BMX and Surface designer, Jason Eichhorst lives and breathes BMX, always has. With that being said, it felt natural for Jason and Surface to team up and host a Benefit Auction to raise money to help cover some doctor bills for the Aitken's.
The item up for auction is, fittingly, the Surface J. Eichhorst LTD Edition Ski valued at $600.00!! You can see the ski in the photo above.
