Spinning help

I need help on how to spin fast when going with speed. Everytime i spin like a old lady.
What's the secret??

What I do is I spin by putting my skis in a wedge and I carve off the jump. You can also get your arms and upper body into it. Just make sure you're comfortable with spinning. Be careful if the jump's icy though - I did a 540 to deathplant off a 30 foot table a couple weeks ago.

When im tryin to spin 720s or 900s i wind up hard an then realease. I throw my head with my shoulders an just keep lookin over your sholder.

I carve and it keeps the spins smooth, and you have to keep looking over your shoulder. Also commit for the big spins. If you are going for a 9, its so easy to stop looking after you spi na 7 and open up to stall it.

what I found realy helps is going into the Jump almost sideways and when your near the top start to go straght then huck your arms and spin,
I failed my gr7 LA-spelling class, so I don't give a F*ck if I spelt some thing wrong.

it really helps to be relaxed in the air and to have a real stable stance when you approach the lip. It will help you feel more stable and help your rotation stay on axis. Also, make sure you are on the balls of your feet before you yank it. You don't want to yank it too early, just right...

I wind up my arms a little befroe the jump and i start to release a little before the lip. Then i have all my momemntum in the air. Follow with your head and COMMITT!!!!

right before you reach the lip spread your feet out in a wide stance and as you start to leave the lip pull them in (same time as you throw your rotation). if you watch ppl spin thats usually what they do and it helps you alot. you dont just ski into the jump, turn your body, and spin. its a whole motion. takes practice but its worth it
