no not at all usually smaller skis are easier to butter but 161 seems about perfect for you but it also does depend on you weight

Honestly, the length has nothing to do with buttering capabilities (within reason). If you can't butter, don't blame it on the skis (unless you're on 210cm race sticks). You can butter a stiffer ski if you know what you're doing.

i was 5'3" last year and i had 161 invaders and i got really good at buttering you should be able to do it
