Getting Music From Your iPod to Your Computer

I want to back up the music that I have on my iPod to my computer's hard drive because my old comp crashed so a lot of my music is only on my iPod and if it breaks, I'm fucked. I have a macbook. Anyone have suggestions for free programs that will do the trick?

enable your ipod to disc use and put it on that way

There's a program called "senuti" (itunes backwards) that will take music from your ipod to your hard drive.

that should work for you...just follow the instructions and it's really simple

I used yamipod the other day to get files off my gfs ipod after she deleted her itunes library. it worked fine, but the ipod had to be reformated before it would work with itunes again. sounds like some of these other ones are the go!
