ne one going? i was looking at the dates and prices and shit for it, and you can get a stretch SUV limo or a helicopter ride to the camp from the airport, OMG THAT IS SOOO BADASS. if ne1 is going tell me we should all do a limo ride there, cause that would be phat, and yes i know people go different sessions, but i just wanna see if ne1 is going.

lol, limo is such a waste of $, besides the entire ride up you are looking out the windows at the glaciers across the water. Just spend the $ on clothes when you get there

I think, for the first time, I'm most likely not going to CoC

this year at camp, although the coaching was good, there was very few very good riders, and there wasn't many people pushing eachother as much as I would have liked.
The terrain was lacking (rails were good, but no S, rollercoaster, etc,) NO BIG TABLES AT ALL (when I was there)

I'm thinking about going to high North....a little cheaper (CoC is going up to almost 1600 for 8 days, 6 days on snow) , more established coaching, more technical, larger features, etc.

unless I can get convinced to go to CoC again.

well i have been going to camp every summer for the last 6-7 years, last year was the first time i got to goto a camp i actualy wanted to goto. and i went to windells, it was great and all but i didn't like the people, they were all stuck up assholes, i love the sport and i love skiing but personaly i don't like doing tricks, crazy ain't it. i just wanna goto ski camp to ski, have a great time, meet great people, and watch a bunch of amazing kids pulling shit. i love watching people do tricks. so in that aspect i think COC would be good for me cause it is more of a party camp then really a learning camp, if you know what i mean. if you really want to progress in skiing tho i completly recomend windells, they ahve the best coaches, and all the top skiers in the world go and session with you there. its amazing, but i want to try out COC. and camp is my birthday present from my g'pa so its not like i am paying for it, so i can go on the heli. i am not trying to come off as being snobby. my mom thinks a great idea as well, and i have never been out to whistler before so it would be sweet to see it from a heli.

ive done the limo ride, its pretty kickass. we went with another family (8 people total) so it was cheaper to get a limo than 8 bus tickets. it has coolers, tv, sterio, sparkly lights, its crazy. we had a kickass driver too. his name was marco. if you get marco, tell him i said hi.

yeah HN is definitely where its at, bigger stuff and the coaching and the place where you stay is in such a nice location, HN is the best

im going to coc i went in 2001 and it was AAMZING, and to this chick whos thinkin about it DEF GO ! its so chill and wow you must have a lot of $$ to have gone to camps 6 years in a row daaaam

no one near me freestyle skis, is it cool to go to hn by yourself, are people chill. i went to whistler this summer for the public park to chill and people were nice, how are they at camp?

i am far from loaded and so is my dad, and my mom.. id unno, but my grandpa is loaded even tho he won't admit it and denys it, weird old man. but as my birthday present he pays for my camp every year. also i was FORCED to goto camp for 2 years, i hated it, omg did i hate it, cheley colrado camps in estes park, it FUCKING SUCKED ASS. so now i want to goto a sweet camp where i'll have the time of my life, windells was great but every1 seemed to think they were better then me, it pissed me off

everything about camp of champs is good.. cept for one thing.. the fuckin guy that runs that shit.. hes a loser... reall big loser.. and i think they should be able to put together a much nicer park considering the space they have, and the money they get... but overall... its a fun time

high north was awesome, no hiking for us like COC lol. Shane was such a cool guy, and all the coaches, while not as well known as some other pros, are still super cool. Tuffelmire was so damn funny, and Abma was super cool. also, we got a game room, two ps2's, ski movies, teasers, comp acsess(mac though). the hotel rooms were soo nice too, two bedrooms, two bathrooms, kitchen and living room. also we had a 7-11 5 min walking distance, so that ruled too. just go to high north.
