Well I would care that it snowed even if i didn't live in washington, so i think it's fine, that it's in ski gabber, but you'd probably get a more enthusiastic response in regional forums.
Think if everyone posted when it snowed first at their mountain? It could take up the whole damn front page of ski gabber, they make regionals for a reason, to discuss your region. I will call everyone out that makes snow threads in ski gabber until they cut the shit.
it's the beginning of october. if people are like "yeah it snowed in ohio it's december!" then i'd probably say regionals, but not many places have snow yet. the fact that it snowed at steven's pass is getting everyone stoked for the impending winter who lives in regions such as ohio where it's still 70 degrees everyday. it's a little light at then end of the tunnel for all of us midwesterners. let it go.
It snowed alot this last weekend in utah and people were skiing and hitting rails and there was ONE thread made by someone who isn't even from utah. I won't let it go.
if by a lot you mean enough to make mud puddles for all you fools to go slide around on then sure...although up in some spots there was enough snow for shred on legit wise...slim pickings on those spots though.
let the guy be stoked on snow buddy, you dont need to get all riled up about a thread online.
I live in Ohio as well and seeing these threads just pisses me off. People out west post how they got 4 inches of snow or snow above 8000 feet, shit like that just makes me jealous. cause i know no matter how the weather is out there we wont ski until at least late November if not mid december. So saying that its is light at the end of tunnel for us midwesters doesnt make much sense cause their weather patterns have no affect at all on ours.....
your right, it didnt snow over 600 inches last year and we don't average over 400 inches per year.... and it didnt snow over 1,100 inches at baker in 99... yup, allllllll it does is rain here.
and also, you're from the damn PNW. those pics are obviously photoshopped, all it does is rain like they said above.
perchance these photos are legit, then the snow will be gone anyways in a month. get over it. the PNW sucks, always has...the films you see of it are of the one or two good days we have during the winter. I really don't know why it's so hyped.
do you wait on your computer until a show thread comes up just so you can hate on it? if you dont want to look at them, then dont. stop bitching about it. im from CT, and im pumped hearing about it. so your wrong... again
If any of you come to the PNW we will teach you a special kind of faceshot we call the puddle splasher, its famous around this area. In fact, resorts in washington measure overnight precipitation by checking puddle depths~
