How do the SPK Sizes run

Last year i had a pair of rossi scratch boots size 27, they were a little big unfortunately, and this year im getting spks, what im wondering is do spks run large or small. And how do they size up to the scratch boots. Unfortunately no one in vail carries them. Any help about sizing would be appreciated.

they run huge. i am in a 28.5 now and i tried the spk on in the same size and it was like a slipper. i could slip my foot right out of it
