I'm pretty sure the kid who posted the "Karma is stupid" thread didn't mention this idea, and I hope not cuz i didn't read it. But wouldnt it be logical for the people who rate other people be automatically required to give a reason why they rated that person in a little "Karma Message" format? I think that might make a low or high Karma rating more easily understood for the user.
