My fucking roommate in univ. constantly asks me to go.

we went today at 8pm, hit niagara and fallsview, came home (15 mins each way), went out for pints with the rest of the house (students, 5 of us) and then after we end up going back cause he wants to win more money.

Fucked?

I always say no. He always talks me into it. How do i get off this shit. Im not losing money, i always come out even or just up which is sick, but we go several times a week. I just have to cut it and not go for a while? Its just a spurt right now?

i just went to turningstone, and dropeed 130, it was shittyy cause i was up 80 for a while then lost it. and every body else i went with came out up money. fucking shitty. but were goin back around christmas cause no matter how much losing 130 sucks it was stil a fun ass time.

Thats nothing, I was at turning stone sunday and lost. I lost $350n 5 minutes, 3 card poker didnt really go my way. I had $25 left, so I went in to Emeralds and bought a piece of cheesecake. Now im down to $20. I went into the poker room with $20 and got up to $150. So I was down $350, but managed to lose $200. It was a long 2 hour drive home.

any way went for my 30th birthday to AC two weekends ago,   lost 480 which in all honesty is nothing for me when i gamble "not trying to claim but a fact"  with the amounts i wager it is almost a win to only lose 480.  proceed to get drunk at gypsy bar then circle bar till 6 amm lost or umh drank 400 worth at the bars.   ok get to the point here, my one buddy was up like 3 dimes at black jack,  avergae bet 100 to 200 a hand.  he looks at me and is liek ok lets get stupid walks over to the roulett table puts 100 on 6, 100 on 8, a 100 on 22, 100 on 33.  first roll 6 3500 ship it.  same thing the next roll. ball bounces in 6 bounces in 33 then bouces in the number between them.  down 400.  same thing next roll black 22 3500 ship it.  i have never met a luckier fuck.  any way if your bitching about 300 dollar losses you prob shouldnt be gambling any way sounds like any play is over you head.  just a personal assumption.  have fun and 89 suited always cracks aces

Its a win win situation. I graduate, and about 10 years from now when I have the job I want, Ill name a Jacket after you.

The only way you lose is if I don't graduate. But with the way things have been going, its pretty risky right now. Just more reason to gamble on it.

exactly. thats little money for gambling...sure it sucks, but its still not much for gambling.

and id also like to know where you sat at a poker table to for 20, esp wen the minimum at turning stone is 50 on slow days.


im sooo good at going up like 4 times my money, but then i keep thinking im going to win, and i lose it all. wenever i tell my mom about my gambling experiences she always tells me i need to backout, my grandma did the same thing wen i was with her once, and i never do...such a bad habit. its soooo much more fun to keep going tho haha

the 2 largest casino's in the U.S., possibly the world, are about a half hour away from me.. I could honestly spend a night just walking around there and not be bored haha.

First time I went to the casino I had $40 on me, went and played roulette with $10...lasted me like 10-15 minutes if that.

I figure lets go play blackjack. I leave the casino with $145.

Over the next 2-3 months I return weekly and take home anywhere from 100-300 per trip until I am about $1300 ahead. Finally my losing streak hits and I slowly lose half of what I won from the casino.

Casinos are a bitch. I always think oh maybe I can go play blackjack and make some money. But really you have to think about the fact you will probably lose money.

If you have money to piss away. Literally money that shouldn't be in your retirement account, or going in your gas tank or anything.

Casinos are awesome.

Although the feeling of losing X amount of dollars in X amount of time really mentally wears down on yah. Like someone else said, the drives home from the casino after losing are some of the longest most dreadful trips you make.

You sit and think why you spent so much, why didn't you just leave when you were just even.

You can sit and dick around and win money in so many ways. Roulette is strangely addictive because you can make $1 bets, and shit at $1 a pop it seems like nothing. Next thing you know you have $24 on the table and you lose 4 spins in a row (your number isn't hit) and your down almost $100
