Pnw pow ski

I am in need of a new pow ski and there is just too much damn choice. First of all I am 5 11 and 150lbs and have the following skis 179 obsethed 176 dumont and 181 reno rocker. What I really want is a floaty pow ski for whistler. I want a ski for more bc jibbing and small cliffs, not much charging really, I ski rarely with other skiers and mainly with boarders. So I want something that will turn on a dime and slay trees but still get me back to the lift in one piece.

The choices are EP pro, not sure is this reallly too soft for PNW pow and chopped up snow, Pollard even slays some big lines in Hunting yeti.

Bent-Chetler, maybe a bit too much like the hellbent which although I liked for all round versatility I found them a bit heavy,,,,

Thug, perhaps too lacking in sidecut and quite a heavy ski

JJ love the idea of R R but is it more of an all mountain tool.

ARG will i get destroyed on the way back to the lift line, too niche, really not sure.

Dont like any of Salomon or Rossis offerings this year and I really want to buy in town (whistler) so Moment is kind of out of the question.

Any opinions/suggestions would be great. plus any other skis which I may not have included.

My brother rides Pontoons for PNW Pow and loves them.  I'll be on SFBs this year and loved when I rode them last year for the same situation.

Yo I'm in the same boat, only I don't have any powder skis,  160 lbs 5' 10''. Lookin to have some fun in steamboat in some off-piste.

Bout how long should i go: 188 or 176 mm and  JJ or previous year reverse camber ski.

if these are a strict pow ski then I would look at ARGs,Donnar Parties, or Pontoons. all would be killer skis. and you wont get"killed" going back to the lift, but it wont be like skiing your rockers

if you already have obsetheds then these must be a pure pow ski right? if you want something with regular sidecut then i think your best bet would be either hellbents or bibby pros. But you said no moment so.. This is strictly my opinion on your choices..
EP Pro - Really soft.. Noodles.. Might be a bit too soft..
JJ - Essentially in the same ski category as the obsethed.. i don't know why you would have both.
Thugs - No idea about these.
ARG - With all those other skis these would be perfect for pure pow days.
Hellbent - More versatile than a reverse sidecut ski. So good in pow. Stiffer than EP pro.
Bibby Pro - Also sick in Pow, versatile and stiffer than EP pros.
The best in pure pow are meant to be the reverse sidecuts. But if you don't want that.. Bents would probably be my choice.

I live in WA and have skied Stevens the last 3 years.  this year I'm at WWU so I'll be skiing Baker all year.  what I did is put together a 2 ski quiver for Stevens last year which was:
Bacons/Jesters
Anthems/mojo 15's
This worked fine for Stevens and the Bacons were fine even in 3+ feet of pow, a little tip dive, but I mounted them close to center as an all around setup.

So now that I had all my bases covered for most everything I got a pair of Donner Party's for Baker because I figure with DP's, Bacons, and Anthems I have as little overlap as possible (I like my park skies wider that's why I got Anthems, I just ride them in park and groomers, and suuuuuuper tracked pow that my Bacons don't like).  Anyway I'd go with ARG's or DP's since you already have everything else covered.  Might as well go reverse sidecut, rocker, go big or go home.....and I know you don't want to go home.

fuck, that sounded like a sales pitch.  Anyway I haven't skied a reverse sidecut ski or even a rockered ski, but technically speaking it should be better in pow than a ski that is not reverse sidecut reverse and rockered.

i think that ep pros would be great for you. they are soft but you said you want something that was a bc jib ski with small cliffs and such. you are riding with snowboarders so most likely your ski doesnt need to be stiff because keeping up with them shouldnt be a problem. since it is soft and flexes a lot it is really quick in trees despite its width. i think you would have some great fun on this ski considering your weight and the information on its use
