I wanna know if there is any point to the whole presisential shit-race going on, and who thinks who should win. A bunch of people won't shut up about it, and it's really pissin' me off. so I deceded to see if there are any people who make sense among the only people who seem to make sense: skiers.

You sir, are an idiot.
The presidential elections are one of the most important events in the world, as the person who is voted in becomes the most powerful man in the world. If he leads the United States poorly, everyone is affected.
Through economic means, or by wars, but everyone is affected in some way. Look at the american economy right now. Depending on who gets voted in, it could either improve or get worse. Or get alot worse. The american economy is extremely important, as it affects every other economy in the world.
In addition, the presidents decisions and orders affect the course of history, as the United States is one of the countries that holds veto power in the UN. They are also one of the G8, and if the wrong person is elected in, everyone gets screwed.
And if you think economics don't matter because you live in a ski town and teach skiing, and it couldn't possibly have anything to do with you, then think again. Economic recession = reduced spending = reduced tourism, meaning the ski hill has less need for you, easily getting you layed off.
Seriously think about what you are saying before you say it. NEVER make this statement again please.
I live in Canada by the way, and I consider this more important than Canada's own election.

this kid isnt really saying shit thats all that dumb, neither of these guys actually have straight answers when they answer questions. for serious, if you listen to the debates they spend the majority of the time ragging on the other dood and saying what they did wrong. i dont really think any of these guys have a concrete idea for fixing the economy, or any things for that matter. i think the two party system has degraded american politics a ton, it has become more about republican vs democrat than the actual issues. seriously it pisses me off that neither of these guys can give a straight answer on any thing. i feel like that its impossible to be entierely liberal or entirely conservative. i wish someone would come along that would give honest answers and actually be firm about their policies no matter if they were more conservative vs liberal. this party loyalty bullshit is gay

im definitely not hating on obama, i feel like hes a 1000 times better choice than mccain, for various reasons. but still i think we need less of a politician, and more of just a good intellectual dood, unbiased and not into all this politics trying to please everyone crap
