Everyone seems to have funny stories on what has happened to their cell phones. We all spend hundreds of dollars on these things only to have something fuck up, usually due to our stupidity and shenanigans. What are your stories?

me. well, im on #4. First one sat it puke all night after a solid party. second i ran into a door phone broke through my pocket and my third i ripped the charger out of it running around in the morning because i was late for work and it never charged since. alas, #4.

When I was in 6th grade, i got my first phone and I thought I was super cool and everything. I put it in my backpack so i couldn't get "caught" by the teachers for having a phone because I was all worried about that. I was walking to a class, and some kid comes and runs full speed headbutt style into my backpack, breaking the screen. I used it with a broked screen until 8th grade lol.

I have an env now, which was my sisters. she bought a blackberry and the day before she was giving me hers she dropped it into the bathtub! luckily it's okay except the end button doesn't work.

in 6th grade my friend was the first to get a phone and he jumped in the pool with it at field day. he got out and we all frantically dried it off but it didn't work again for a few months.

I took a swim with mine last summer, didn't use it for 3 days... it dried and now its like it's never touched water lol

im on my 14th cell phone yep thats right 14... here are the highlights

at field day at school and was wearing basketball shorts, no pocket. i was holding cell in one hand cup of pop in the other.. some one decided to give me a ball to throw at the dunktank that my principle was in. like an idiot i had nowhere to put my phone so i rested it across brim of cup, right before i threw somone bumped my and splash! phone droped all on 3 inches to the bottom of my drink. FAIL

envy fell out of my pocket while i was at sticktime at local ice arena... i knocked over and it fell out n someone stole it... 3 days later i got to canceling it..$273 charge on premium text messaging and games and music!!!! FAIL


of coarse... 3 lost at the local mountain 7 springs!

dog chewed one up


yeah i got basicly the shitiest phone ever for fear of destroying another expensive one

im one number three. but anyway

got the first kind of chocolate the sliding one. so many problems holy shit. it ended up just not charging and it would randomly turn on and call the last person i called and then the music would also randomly turn on.

so i argued with telus so much they finally just gave me 250 dollars credit so i got the new chocolate flip one and i was like k no sliding no breaking yay!. i was just starting a new job dishwashing and the lock they gave me for my locker didnt open, my manager was just like its ok no one goes in here even and well get you one next night. well phone got stolen the day after i got it YAY! i yelled at the manager and quit i was just pissed off but whatever dishwashing sucked.

so now i have my moms old one and its holding up pretty well even though it looks like a piece but yeah.

i dont really expect people to read all this

only on number 2 luckily!

for my other one i was egging houses one night blitzed out of my skull. dumb me thought it would be a good idea to put 2 eggs in my pocket so i could carry more with me. egged a few cars, started running, crack! both eggs mashed against eachother and made quite a nice omelet in the pocket which had my phone and wallet in. all my money got covered in egg and half the buttons on my phone stopped working, gay.

I'm on #4 findin #5, skiing kills cellphones I swear. One of them fell into the snow from a chairlift, still managed to dig it out and find it but it was fried. Cracked the screens on both my mp3 and cellphone at the same time decking in the superpipe and ragdolling into the tranny. Another one fell from my shelf while the charging plug was still in, messed everything up. Any recommendations on a good sturdy phone that will stand up to a good beating?

well, it was the last day of coc.
and i was coming down the very top chair, over all those fucking huge rocks and shit.
and i was pulling shit out of my pocket, trying to grab a mars bar because i was really hungry. well that was a bad idea and shortly after when i wanted to call someone, i realized it wasnt there.
"oh fuck."
"what?"
"i dropped my cellphone."
"oh.. that sucks."
yeah...
i didnt get a new one until a month and a half later

im on phone number 4.
1st one fell apart on me, i had it for about a year.
second one shattered in my pocket when i fell skiing.
third one i got pissed and threw it straight into the ground, nothing worked on that.
and no i have a voyager.

iv had many but have only had to replace 3.
my first phone i got was when i was about 12, i got it the week before i went on tour to australia and was maaad stoked on it. the 2nd day in australia it got stolen out of my bag when we were at the pools :(
at new years this year i got very drunk and decided to go to sleep on the pavement. i put my fone next to me thinking i was at home doing what i usually do. woke up the next morning and not surprisingly it wasnt there.
a few months later i again got very drunk, this time to the extent of throwing up for a solid 2 hours whilst my phone took every shot of spew i produced, it didnt have  a show of working again

left 2 on the top of cars, and they drove away.  Left one in the dirt while camping. ran into a door and cracked the screen, and threw one at a wall.

on my third.. 1st fell out of my pocket at warped tour.. fricken cargo shorts.. 2nd i was getting towed in a kayak behind a jetski (i know i know a truly brilliant idea), and basically fell in with it.

got into a car at night while it was pouring rain. about 5 minutes later on my way home, i realized that it had fallen out of my pocket. drove back to the side of the road where i got in (mom was driving), i saw it in the gutter as we approached, but my mom was too slow to react and actually stopped the car with the wheel on top of my phone. i went and picked it up out of the nearly flooded gutter, and it still works completely fine. the only thing is the battery is now held in with duct tape

I dropped it too much, but with my 2nd phone (this happened like 2 days ago), it basically borke and I couldnt send, recieve texts or voicemails. The phone would also freeze like a computer. You couldnt even hit the off button.

But when trying to text, a black background with a message in red letters came up saying. "FATAL ERROR!" I got a pic of it. Ill post it up soon.

Im not sure how many phone I've owned but here are a few that I remember

We were building a small jump and my friend didn't realize I was behind him and he threw a piece of wood straight into my cell phone that was in my pocket. End of screen.

Next one: I was skateboarding and forgot my phone on the park. Theres nobody there ever so I always get all the stuff out of my pockets and one day I forgot my phone there. Came back 5 minutes later and it wasnt there anymore and the park was empty.

Next: This summer me and my friend were drunk ok a beach and went to talk to some girls on the dock. There he thought it would be funny to throw me in the lake with my cellphone in my pocket.

And the last one: I was jumping on a tramp, my phone was in a pocket that went all teh way to my knee. Jumped on my knees, forgot the phone was there. End of screen.

I was in London borrowing a friends phone (which makes it all the worse)... i was walking in front of some monumental building, coulda been a church, don't remember... anyway it starts to rain, i have the phone in my hand and while i'm walking, i'm simultaneously trying to get my umbrella out, and ooops the phone slips out of my hand. Then, as if it were in slow motion i see it falling towards this small grate thing, and before could bat an eye, the phone slides very neatly and perfectly through the small slit. I really had to laugh because the odds of it falling just so were very small.

My sister washed my old cell phone that was in my ski pants. After 2 years it finally turned on again, but all my OG ringtones have been erased, as well as my phone numbers.

My 2nd cell phone I was joshing around with and I threw it up in the air and I accidentally hit a tree...It split into like 100 pieces...I accually put it back together and it still works ... I don't use the old brick anymore though.

i dropped one in the toilet out of my hoodie pocket when i was wiping my a word, and i dropped another in the lake and only found it in 2 feet of mud cuz some one called it, and it worked for another year.

first one was on my pocket when i was thrown into a pool. i ALMOST got it out of my pocket mid air...not so much lol.

im on my second now but i dropped this one in a fire at my cottage while i was hosing it down, i was drunk and it managed to fall out of my hoody..and i dont understand how it still works but it does!

Well my last phone went through the washer three times and the dryer twice before breaking (third time it went through the wash I found it when I was switching my clothes to the dryer and it was broken)

And to anyone who says keep better track of your phone haha, this is because my mom will occasionally go into my room and get my clothes if she does the laundry when I'm not home and she doesn't check the pockets...

i remember my friend used to do phone tricks, and he'd always smash the phone with his fist then it would fly up and flip around. So needless to say he takes it too far and tries to show one of his phone tricks to this chick. They are in the bathroom and he flips the phone perfectly up and right into the toilet... what a retard.

well my first phone was brought into the shower and got water damage..oops and had to use that for a few months got a second  one and tried to take good care of that until it dropped into a cup of water. after that i got my first voyager and that broke so got another one and that broke and got another one and that broke and got my 4th one and that broke so now i am on my 5th voygaer and it hasnt broken yet yay

umm, my first one was a tank. long last battery. no problems even though I dropped it daily from getting out of my car.

then i went to verizon, got a chocolate last year. stupid phone. But it doesn't break easy. I left it, lost, in a pile of snow for 2 days last winter. Worked perfectly still. But by summer, the battery died. i replaced that, then it started randomly calling people and the touch screen didnt work. So I got a replacement for 50 bucks from verizon until my 2 years in january.

i drive a truck in the summer for my job, phone was on the dashboard. I decided to be too fast, too furious and whip a quick left. My phone slid across the dash and out the window only to be run over by a mini-van =[ fuckiing soccer moms.

in one year


I dropped my first phone skiing and it broke
my second phone went through the wash
I left my third phone in a rental car
and 2 years later... my current phone has been through the wash, ive gone swimming with it in my pocket twice, i spilled a half gallon water jug on it, i threw it to my friend on his drive way and he completely missed and i threw it as far as i could... and it still works fine.

first phone i went pocket to rail i think a few to many times because it just ended up shorting out
second phone a kid and i were wrestling at a bus stop and he like push me on the ground and it cracked my screen
now im on #3 so hopefully this one will last awhile

1st phone, perfectly fine, then the battery died so I got bored at work, so I threw it thinking it was indestructable. Sent it into Samsung, told me it was water damage
2nd phone was just a cheapo, so I got bored of it and decided to to just buy a new one. After I bought the new one, I threw the old one at a metal bridge while drving 70kms. BOOM
so Im on the 3rd one now.

1st phone- through the wash
2nd phone- sucked. used phone, battery died in 10 mins.
3rd phone- dropped a rail onto it, cracked the screen.
4th phone- fell outta my pocket skiing 2 weeks after i got it, friend found it and gave it back after i started flipping shit about how my dad was going to dismantle me.
-about a month later- fell outta my pocket skiing again! called it like 10 times to see if someone would pick up, no one answered. called my mountain to see if they had it, they said they didnt.
5th phone- sisters old phone
6th phone- actually my 4th phone. my mountain called my mom because she was an emergency contact, said they found a the phone. i went and got it and there was a sticker on it from the date they found it.. it was 2 days after i lost it and 5 days before i called to see if they had it. fucking assholes.
and yet im still on that phone. beat to fuck but still works fine.

and now im probably going to break it or lose it becasue i said i still have it

1st one- my fatass dad sat on it and it broke hahahha i'm not kidding
2nd one- just kinda got fucked up, don't know where it is now
3rd one- got hella drunk and hella high, and decided to impress people by showing everyone how far i could throw it off a dock into Lake Washington.

I'm not sure if thats what actually happened, but thats what people told me. i don't remember
