quickest way is control panel, appearance and personalization, add gadgets to sidebar

ya what he said, sidebar is dope as hell though, and another thing about vista that you might no or might not no is

Tab + windows start button(usually next to the ALT button) = flip 3d= viewing everything that you have open and ur desktop
so dope with a lot of shit opened up
