Which crowbar lenses should i get...

alright so i'm pretty set on getting the jp auclair crowbars this season...like everybody else haha. but should i spend the extra 40 bucks on the fire lenses? or should i just get the permission lense? am i missing out on the full crowbar experience with the permission lenses?

and i ski east coast. some night skiing, a fair bit of flat light and some bright days. but no colorado killer sun days, so are the fire lenses overkill?

also...i'll probably end up getting another lense. so basically which two lenses should i have? and one of them has to be either fire or permission, because they come with the jp auclairs.

go fire and pink irid, the fire is actually not that bad night skiing its not super but you can still rip

pink iridium is nowhere near as good in low or flat light conditions as H.I. yellow. Go with fire and H.I. yellow.

i feel that g30 performs on average in both conditions, as does persimmon

if you want two lenses, go black iridium and h.i. yellow

as an ec skier i rock black irid and hi-yellow, i didn't have the chance to get fire but i don't like the flashiness, but it certainly is the best sun lens and hi-yellow is the best flat light
if you want one lens to do it all then get hi-persimmon, i dunno why but it's a sick lens

for eastcoast i rock fire for the day time which is good for msot days some days it can be a tad dark but nothing bad i like em and they look sick and i rock clear at night/ realllyy snowy days

i would have to disagree.
maybe its just me but i can absolutly not see a thing using fire at nite.
imo high intensity yellow is a better low light lense than pink irid. because pink irid is more along the light transmission of a persimmon.  so if i were you i would go for the fire lense and h.i. yellow if you wanted a 2 lense setup.  otherwise maybe just pink iridium(i know you cant buy it with these but you could find it on here for around 50 or so)  persimmon is a pretty good all around lense but it looks bad imo.

maybe if youre out west, but i ski east, and i use lw light lenses.. i was using a gold just because thats what came with the gogs i got since i was naive and just liked how it looked

in genera east coast trails were made more narrow since winds out here would blow the snow right off the hill and leave it icy, and those narrow trails result in the trees leaving shadow over the trails, leaving flat light and shitty vision.. for instance fire iridium would cripple your vision even more. its my opinion, at least, you may or may not know what im talking about ddepending on how much you ski out here

i heard somewhere that a lighter lense is better for the east cost. but i dont know im broke so i only have one pair of goggles and i do night skiing on weekdays so i need light lenses. maybe it has to do with the fact that the mountains are too big for night skiing in the west

east coast has more direct moon light glare .. you need a lighter lense out here.

i have a HI yellow for night and im looking for a good lens for daytime sun/cloudy east coast. would a blue iridium be good for this and even some blue bird days?

haha good to hear. mine are due to arrive sometime next week.


ps i ended up getting fire lenses, and i'm gonna pick up a pair of pink irids off here too. hopefully i'll be able to use the fires more than like...5 times a year haha cause its east coast and shitty
