Sparknotes at bottom. I'd suggest reading them, I tend to ramble.
As I sit in my dorm room eating this ungodly delicious Subway sandwich it dawns on me that I have a speech outline due on Monday and I haven't even chosen a topic yet.
I first chose to do an informative news presentation about the Large Hadron Collider. But when I heard someone else had already chosen that and my teacher began to discourage me from it I knew I'd have to choose a new one. And just so you know my teacher said that because she doesn't understand anything about the LHC how is the rest of the class going to understand. What she doesn't realize is that she's a dumb communications graduate student. Anyway I digress.
I woke up sick as hell today. I didn't even go to the Purdue v. Penn State game I felt so shitty. I'm trying to find topics for a speech but I can barely stand to write this thread let alone read a bunch of article.
I'd really appreciate it from NS if you could help me find a topic to research on. The way my teacher wants it done by finding an article and then finding 2 print resources to support it. It has to be 4-6 minutes in length and must be relevant to college students of course. So the article must be interesting/useful to that demographic.
sparknotes: I need a speech topic. Please read the last paragraph to find the parameters. It'd really really be helpful to me.
Oh and +karma for whoever wants it I guess.
