No whats really poisoning the political dialogue is your broken record bullshit about "evil big business and evil CEOs trying to line their pockets." I love hearing mainstream media repeated back to me.

What you fail to understand every single time is that no matter what happens, these "evil" CEOs will always be doing just fine. They aren't really affected by these taxes, they'll just pass them down to you. What will happen is they will take a small hit in their pay, while getting rid of all jobs that are expendable and getting rid of pension plans that are no longer practical to maintain.

Prosperous people are not stupid, you fuck them over enough and they will leave. In this age of globalization there are going to be more attractive places to do business throughout the world. With all this exodus of money, where exactly is the money for your lovely "fairness" programs?

And you're comparing conservatives to people on welfare? Lets get one thing straight, finally. I could not care less about the ideals of conservatives in the context that you mean it. I believe in being fiscally conservative, downsizing government and cutting taxes while maintaining strong national defense with border security. Every other part of being conservative as you mean it, I don't care about.

Explain to me how its fair that a welfare recipient should live in the same neighborhood as individuals who pay millions of dollars into the tax system? What is fair about having my car broken into in broad daylight by the people living in these apartments? Not only do we fucking support them, but they have the nerve to steal from us? I've seen these people, little wonder why they're all overweight, and they all seem to have a nice Dish Network satellite receiver... For doing absolutely no work, I'd certainly they that they're "living it up"

Obama's taxes will do nothing but completely stifle the economy by creating negative incentives for growth, especially amongst those who own businesses. He is inexperienced, not saying Palin isn't. He is viewed as a celebrity, he is a great orator, I'll give him that. He presents his plans in a way that sounds appealing to those who have no clue about economic policy.

His plan's for universal healthcare will further slow economic growth. Why not promote business and free trade to allow the worker to purchase their own healthcare? Or, better yet, why not let businesses grow so they can provide healthcare to their employees?

Obama appears to be a good leader because of his oratorical and rhetorical skills. However, I have to consider who I want leading us when the shit hits the fan and someone with no Military experience is not that man.

It doesn't really matter cuz I live in fucking Vermont, but I'm voting for McCain.

You have never seen the face of true poverty. I have compassion for people who are building their own shelter out of plywood and plastic in shanty towns, not for the American poor who demand more hand-outs. Guess what motherfucker? When shit gets worse here, when business is affected adversely by socialistic spending programs, it affects the world as a whole. Shit gets that much worse for people in other countries who now find themselves unable to make a living by the global slowdown in business, tourism, industry, ect. You self-righteous fools who think you're "helping" people and providing "fairness" are only making the world worse. You blindly follow you're leftist rhetoric with a view only on the primary effects that you want, never looking at the broader scope of what negative implications will occur.

A fricken men not only do they "help people" they are what makes the FREE MARKET!!! thrive when they invest the market thrives. And if you tax them more they wont invest and your market will crash.  Personally if i were one of the CEOs and if Barack wins i would hide as much money as possible from the Government so i can keep at least a little of it.

Obama's plans are going to push us so far further into debt its not even funny. His tax plan is rediculous, and i'm not even talking about taxing corporations but the other parts of his tax plan are still retarded. how he thinks they will work is beyond me.

and oh if i recall, i believe i heard Obama talking about pulling out of Iraq.....AND going into Afganistan during the other weeks debate? yeah? heard right? i thought so...So not only is he NOT going to have all the money from pulling out of Iraq (for his like over 800 Billion dollars in new plans), he is basically misleading all the uniformed noobs running around on NS saying, "i'm voting for Obama because i'm tired of this war and we can use that money back here at home". NO. we cant. because we are going to be in Afganistan. tough shit. I'm voting for an old head because i know he has experiance and wont completely fuck this country over. You can quote me in a year after Obama wins and everyone relizes he has no idea what he is doing.

Yes, but maybe Obama is what the United States needs. After he royally fucks up, perhaps people will finally see through his, and his party's, bullshit. Optimistically, I see a new emergence of a revamped Republican party, with new senators and representatives to take majorities in congress during the mid-term elections of Obama's presidency. Then in 2012, maybe we can turn the damage he's done around.

Obama will be nothing more than a continuation of the 9% approval rated democratic congress. Hows that for "more of the same" as you dems love to repeat like you're clucking chickens.



But all you McCain supporters, don't get too excited, he isn't going to win this one.

I guess i kind of agree with you on that one especially since the Republicans didn't put their best foot foward on this election.  John Mccain wasn't the best pick Mitt Romney would have been better IF he wasn't morman.  But with your point i'm scared about those 4 years of Obama.  1 thing Bush did do (1 of his positives) is keep us safe here at home after 9/11 so i see your point but Obama just makes me scared.

Drew, IMO after 9/11 we needed a leader, and i am proud of what GW did in the time directly following 9/11.... I can honestly say i would NOT feel as safe if there was a second time around and Obama was Prez IMO of course.

  9/11 and the subsequent pursuit of Osama Bin Laden, Al-Qaeda, and peripherally, the Taliban in Afghanistan, is a completely seperate military action from the invasion of Iraq.

  We invaded Iraq because of our rock solid intelligence around Iraq's possession of "wmds".

  I repeat...WE DID NOT INVADE IRAQ BECAUSE OF THE 9/11 ATTACKS.

  You are a text book example of how the Bush Administration and the right wing media have attempted to blur these two things together retroactively.

  It's absolutely terrifying to me that you don't know this....please tell me you're too young to vote.

  I won't even attempt to respond to your analogy of the bailout because it's too stupid to warrant a legitimate rebuttal.

His actions equating to making our country safer is completely debatable. A unfortunate side effect of our presence over there is anti-American resentment, and its impossible for us to untangle the two. Dont get me wrong, there was a issue over there that needed to be dealt with, but I disagree strongly in the way it was initiated and even more strongly disagree with how quickly we abandoned that mission to pursue other ventures.
