I noticed today that somebody has in their signature the following text:
"Well since moment skis are crap...I just answered your question. - 123ski$"
I actually found this, while searching for the thread that I wrote that in, because it was time for me to apologize. I wrote that about 7 months ago, after having seen a pair of moment prototypes at Alta. At the time, I knew nothing about moment skis, and I was honestly scared of their square shape. For some reason to me they looked like they had been pressed crooked, but it was all in my imagination. At the time I had never hand flexed a Moment ski, skied on a moment ski, nor even touched a moment ski. This has all changed now, as has my opinion on them.
I have recently been able to see quite a few skis in the Moment line. I have hand flexed quite a few of them, and I am really stoked to hopefully get the opportunity to try a pair out. I am personally leaning towards buying the Donner Party (135-140-130), as I have determined that it is one of the best skis for me on the market right now. I took alot of beef for what I wrote about Moment, but I still somewhat believed in what I had said. I need to take this chance to appologize for the mistake I had made.
Again, I have yet to ski a pair of moment skis. I am now planning on buying a pair. My thoughts and opinions towards said skis has been completely reversed. If you haven't seen a pair of moment skis, I highly recommend you find a pair. You can take the entire signature written above as a joke now, because it is not my opinion at all. Sorry moment skis, for what I now perceive to be a mistake on my part. I am stoked on your line up of skis. I hope that they ski as well as I believe they will. Sorry moment team, especially Ced, and Josh. I am not making this statement to shed better light on myself, although this probably won't hurt in that regard, but to clear my name from the injustice that I gave to moment skis. I am not saying that everyone here should go out and buy a pair, you can buy whatever you want, but it wouldn't hurt to take a look.
