Awesome, Krush gets cooler and cooler every year.
Skiers would just get hurt and not really do anything, so there's just no point.

I hope you are kidding!!!! It started with skiing and it will end with skiing, I am so stoked that its developed so far , of course each sport leap frogged the last. Unfortunatley for boarders skiers got the last straw and they will continue to dominate the snow. I'm Not that tuned into boarding but what else can they do that they haven't already done. Not to even mention it takes real balance and talent, years of dedication to be a good skier. It used to be skiers inferior to boarders for their following,,, now the boarders are excluding the skier cause they rule all aspects of the sport! It their turn to respect and it's not going over easy apparently. Who's organizing SKIERS ONLY!!!! I wish I had some push, buts it's waiting for the taking!

I know,, and you are so fly , the dopest life to ever be heard. I really don't care how anyone rides their snow, it's all about the spirit and the love we share for it. Most my friends are boarders, I'm not bias, just reacting to the discremenation from both sides. And how can anyone deny skiing has become way cooler than boarding?

If you had been around for the last few years and aware of what is going on you would not have made your statement about it starting and ending with skiers and all that shit. Fuck it is primary our fault as skiers that there is an incredible lack of skiing competitions out there. A few years ago snoqualmie had this pipe competition, there was one day of snowboards and one day of skiers, over 50 snowboarders showed up to compete in the pro and am divisions. 9 skiers showed up total, 7 in the pro and 2 in the am, with really only 2 actualy in the compition. Now yes the amount of skiers in the parks has grown over the last few years, however we still see the same thing, Vegetate this last year, a purse of over $2k if I remember right. A large regional compition. over 30 snowboarders, 12 skiers competed, drawing a range from norther cali through WA. The fact is Skiers don't show up at compitions. So why they fuck put on the compitions when you usualy end up losing money.

I have been around for quite some time, I just haven't concerned myself with attending many comps because I'm usually busy skiing for myself and usually solo anyway, I didn't grow up here so I'm not hangin with anyone that envolved yet. Hopefully the SKI comunnity will grow at our local mountains cause I don't see a whole lot of comodary there and its technology like this site that bring people together these days. (Unless you have roots in your area). Snowboarding is odviously still very big , but skiing is still on the rise, and we'll see those rolls reversed eventually. Either way I respect all. Except haters ,,, will get what they serve. At my home mountain in Girwood AK, riders don't have to know eachother to be cool with eachother and everyone in town does know eachother because they are all the same breed, it doesn't matter what you wear, just so you can keep up.

^exactly, you dont concern yourself with comps, just like most other skiers. Thats his point. And im sorry that we're not cool with you right off the bat here in washington like they are in Alaska. The fact of the matter is, we're not all the same kind of people here. Im from the east side and i take chair rides with some of the weirdest folk from crystal complaining about unmarked features in the backcountry and all sorts of people. the fact of the matter is that no, this isnt pleasantville, you're the one doing the hating in this thread, not as many skiers do comps, snowboarding is here to stay, and theyre not going to change the comps this year so get over it and go build a rail in your backyard and film it if thats what youre going for.

I'm doing the hating? Listen to yourselves! It was just an opinion , I'm glad you like the way it's going. And I'm not a competitor, I don't consider myself good enough and never have the money to enter if I wanted to, but always trying to improove. I might get there eventually, I don't know why with all the talent I see on the mountain skiers arent showing up to compete, that seems unbelievable. Odviously this is a very touchy subject for you guys and I wish you luck with your elite domance on the matter. So peace I gotta go home , have a good season.
