Hate my shortness

Damn in 15, almost 16 and 5,4. I hate being short so much. All of my friends are like a fucking foot taller than me and its starting to really piss me off. Do you kids think that im going to be a freak and be this small for my wholelife or maybe im a late bloomer or something? Does anyone else have this problem because im like one of the smallest kids in my grade and its really starting to get to me.

i have a friend thats 5,1 and is rollin on 161 skis but i feel bad that went that big but i bet hell grow to be taller hes only 14 now

Ima junior and theres a girl in my class thats like 5' 2" . neways your prolly jus a late bloomer my dad was really small untill his freshmen year of college he grew like 7 inches

dont worry about it. my friend is in grade 12 and is like 5'1", i wouldnt call him very developed either. nobody even really realizes hes short anymore, now that everyone is used to seeing him. i should also mention that he has like a second degree black belt in karate.

I was relatively small until i was 15.  Im now 5'10'', which is somewhat OK...

but dont worry boys grow up until they're 20 or so i think

im 18 and only 5'6". ive been this height since like 8th grade. maybe ill grow a little more, but i really doubt it. and i kinda hope not cuz i just bought custom footbeds thinking im deff done growing...

dude, you're 15. you'll grow.
for now use it to your advantage for skiing...short people are more agile, you can spin faster and get grabs easier if you don't have disproportionately long legs like me.

I'm exactly the same as you I'm like 5'4 and 15 turning 16 in march
thing is, my parents are like 5'2 and I'm taller than both of them already so unless I get genes from my uncle (which I'm hoping) I'm done growing

I'm wishing for around 5'7, 8 I guess? not too tall but just tall enough so I don't have to get 160-ish skis haha

but ya all my friends are so tall it sometimes can get a little annoying

not sure about skiing, but I spent a lot of time with the pro wakeboard tour past few summers, all those guys are short as fuck, cept for like eric ruck and kieth lyman. small = easier arobatics = good for skiing, embrace it man! sometimes I wish I wasn't six feet

i was like 5'3" ish til i was 16, then i started working out a little adn grew like 3 inches in the summer, and now at 18 im about 5'10" i would like to be 6' at most, but not more, but 5 10 in nice casue its easy as someone else said to find your length in skis, and baggy clothes, and for me, i dont need longer golf clubs.
but mabye try wrking out a bit, it helps some people grow, but as long as your comfortable with your height it dosent matter to anybody else.

I've been 5'9 since 7th or 8th grade, haven't grown since.  And I'm 19 and a freshman in college now.  Saved me hella money though.

fuck all you kids im 6'2" and i hate it being a tall ass mother fucker. short kids have the best style you guys take your height for granted. i mean sure, anything out of the world of skiing is waay better if your tall but if you ski your stlye is wack, and skiing is the only thing thats important. so what if i can reach the top shelf for the ramen noodles i want dumont steeze dammit!

I am 24 years old and 5'7". Luckily there are plenty of fine spinners in the 5'1"-5'4" range. Even if I was tall I would date spinners.

i'm on 170's and i'm five feet tallll.

yeah i know its different cause i'm a female and whatnot but still. the whole 'wow your short' every single day from the same people i see everyday just gets really old.

my dad grew 8 inches after highschool and he is 5 11 now.

Look at your parents, you will probably end up about as tall as them. See if they were late bloomers.

Even as a girl, I grew an inch and a half after highschool.

There are things that can stunt your growth though. If neither of your parents were late bloomers and both are taller, go see a nutritionist. My cousin was having the same problem, turned out that he was just allergic enough to peanuts that it was causing him to be sick a lot but he never had the rashes or anything to go along with it.

don't worry about it man. your probably steezy as fuck when you ski. try being steezy at 6' 2", its much harder. you can also have a WAAAY easier time looking jacked, so i suggest going to the gym and doing just that. And the third stereotype is that girls like taller guys which is not true at all, one of my friends is 5' 6" and is my master wingman. You probably havent stopped growing anyways you' have like 2 more years.

a lot of girls simply are not attracted to short guys.  then again, theres girls who are, but just not as many.

style-wise it does help.  I'm a lanky motherfucker, basically tall people have the same coordination system as normal or short people, but extra length throws you off and makes you ungraceful.  well thats my theory, cause I felt a lot more agile before I went through a growth spurt.  I thought it was just puberty but it was years ago.

when i was 16 i was 5'2". My drivers liscence says im 5' 3" still cause i gave myself an inch. between 16 and 18 i grew 6 inches then freshman year of college i grew another inch and tomorrow ill be 21 and im pretty sure im at my adult height of 5' 9"
