Although I know it was supposed to be a joke, he said it with way too straight a face. A little chuckle might have eased my mind at least. Reminds me all too much of the three different times (at least on record) that Bush has said something like this:
“If this were a dictatorship, it would be a heck of a lot easier, just so long as I’m the dictator”
A dictatorship would be a heck of a lot easier, there’s no question about it”
“You don’t get everything you want. A dictatorship would be a lot easier.”
i was noticing that during the debate, he starts to get angry and when someone mentioned that she would listen to him when he got all angry i realized that he could be leading up to being a dictator. the woman was a hardcore obama supporter but she thought mccain did better in the debate because he scared her, that's not a good sign, absolute monarchy right there
I don't feel like making yet another political thread since half of NSG is political thread but I just thought I would mention that Sarah Palin smoked weed. But she still thinks people should be jailed for it.
mccain was using fear in the debate by getting angry. a woman i was talking with is an intense obama supporter and writes political articles and she was saying that mccain scared her in the debate which forced her into thinking that he did a better job. she said that she will listen to someone who rules by fear and that takes us back to absolute monarchs, i'm not saying mccain will be that extreme, but if he gets us to listen and comply through fear, then that's taking away the idea of a democracy
