ahh foolish thread, kids these days and their lack of creativity.

anyway, i had my friend that was really good at drawing give me a dope back tat that said homecoming? with sharpee and looked way legit.

she gave me a hug, i told her she had man hands cuz it really hurt my back ect ect, took off my shirt and asked her if there was any blood coming from my back.

i also had my friend write thug life on my abs with a bullet replacing the "i"

today i tied a sign to a girls car with string that said "homecoming?" from me and she drove around with it for a few hours before someone what like wtf? and she called me and was supper excited and said yes.

That is just plain dumb, just ask a girl, don't do any creative shit.  You're already going to spend a bunch of money on the bitch, just fucking ask her.  I doubt it will turn into any meaningful relationship anyway.  I know, how about you be creative and just ask her, nobody does that anymore, maybe she will appreciate the simplicity of it, you know without and childish little games.  Oh wait homecoming is just childish bullshit anyway, maybe you should come up with some grand retarded plan to ask her.

Secondly, you don't deserve a plan unless you come up with it yourself, what would the girl think if she knew you just asked a bunch of 14 year olds on the internet how to do it???  She would probably think you are a douche nugget.

Thirdly, I have noticed a correlation between the way a kid asks and how well the dance/relationship is.
The more games, and "creativity," (if you can stoop low enough to call it that, since you yourself didn't even come up with it.) you use, the worse the dance or relationship goes.  In the end it doesn't matter at all, you might feel all good about yourself but it's just dumb.

So I suggest:
1.  Don't go, don't worry you won't miss out on the hs experience, because it is bullshit anyway for the most part.
2.  If you insist on going, just ask her in a simple way and go on with your day.

Anyway, I hope you have fun at homecoming.

my language arts teacher almost had me arrested because i burnt a lower case t into her front yard, she always marked me off for not using capital letters, she said it was a hate crime, i never got it

Give her a loaf of french bread with "Will you go to homecoming with me?" written on it with Sharpie.

Make sure to use green sharpie though, it always goes over a little better.

Nah, I did, I had a few really good friends, everybody else I could care less about.
I actually went to prom twice and homecoming once.
One prom and one homecoming I actually had a pretty good time because the girl was awesome.

Fuck man, I dunno.  I just think it's dumb to ask in creative ways.
I just always would see kids do all this weird shit and try to make it all public so everyone would see what they did and how they asked a girl, and it always just annoyed the shit out of me cause it just seemed so pointless.  I mean I treat my girlfriend really well but I never felt the need to do some stupid shit like asking her in a way other than well....asking her.
And if everyone is watching, what is the girl going to say, she is going to say yes, and she might not even want to go, that will lead to having a shitty time and her possibly leaving you.

For example: a kid I knew decided to ask a girl out in front of about 45% of the school (small 700ish kid school) at lunch, so he got up on the stage and did some stupid ass rap and in the end he asked her out and got her flowers.  and of course the girl said yes, I mean what else would she say in front of that many kids.  In reality she didn't want to date this guy at all and they broke up in about 4 or 5 days.  It was just stupid.  I mean you can treat a girl really well and do romantic stuff for her, but you don't need to do some big public display to show everyone that you can do some stupid cute shit to impress her.  Your actions and personality should speak for themselves.

i got this one from the lm cult and i did it this year:

get two rocks, one small one, and one 200 lb one.  spray no on the big one, and yes on the small one.  drop them off at her house with "homecoming?"  and drop off a note saying she has  to take the rock of choice to your house.

last year a guy bought a bouqet of daisies (my fav flower...) and he wrote "will" on all the petals of one flower, you on the next flower, and so on until they all said will you go to homecoming with me??? on them, and gave them to me.  it was simple and kinda cute.
you just have to buy flowers with big enough petals to write on...

if u really want something, i did this a while back: get a bag of kisses, or a handful, or something, but they have to be hersheys "kisses" then write a note something like, theres more kisses where that comes from. its really corny, but idk it worked for me

Get brass knuckles that say "Homecoming" on them. Once you see the girl that you're going to ask, punch here straight in the middle of her forehead and tell her to quickly look into a mirror. The work "Homecoming" should be imprinted right on her forehead depending on how hard you punched her.

When I was in high school, I thought that coming up with big elaborate ways was kind of pointless, and was just a way for the Chad's of the school to show how big their sack was (or how small)...

but then, i was hanging out with all my friends after school in the parking lot, and one of my guy friends goes "calan, will you go to homecoming with me?" and I was like "are you serious?" and he's like "yeah" and I was like "sure"

but then i remember thinking "what a lame ass way to ask me...wtf"

So even though I thought it should be ok for guys to just straight up ask, when that actually happened to me I was a little disappointed. (Turns out this was a guy friend of mine who really wanted to date me too, so you'd think he'd have done something to WOO me)

Oh, I guess I didn't realize it was sort of required or whatever.  that just seems stupid, but that's my opinion so whatever.  As for the help, I mean he's not asking for help, he's asking for us to do it for him, which I guess isn't that bad, but eventually you gotta do some things for yourself, and this is a good place to start.

And like Calan (didn't know your name till now) said about the Chad's doing it.  Ya, I think that was my main problem, the Chad's, Bro's, Jocks, whatever you want to call them, doing it just so they could fuck some girl after the dance when the girl was too drunk to remember or consent, that is just fucked up.  So ya, my main problem was with those type of people doing it, they get noticed enough for stupid shit as it is.
