I'm having trouble iron crossing. It's so complicated. So pleasssssse reply. I'm very confused. If some can post i youtube video tutorial or sumthin that would be great. Thanks.

If you are seriously having trouble crossing your skis in the air then try doing some safety grabs and whatever to get you more comfortable in the air and then you should be able to cross your skis.

^ tail grabs will probably help him more. i mean once you get the grab it will kinda set you up better so you can just cross your skis.

This is incredibly ironic, as when newschool started it was meant to get away from the daffy-iron-cross twister spread crowd, and yet someone comes on here and asks how to do one? clearly someone doesn't know his skiing history. I would forgive this guy if he was trying to do a mute grab, commonly called an iron cross by the uneducated masses.

Not the case for me.

I did the "pole-ding". I would go off of a jump, and hit my ski with a pole. And it was fucking badass. Especially when I started doing double pole dings.

grab with your right hand to your right ski above the toe-piece, pull to the right. put your other hand up for balance. thats a mute but iron crosses are gay anyway. you could also try peeing in your butt

ok, well, this trick is quite an advanced and technical aerial manoever, so you will want to practice going off jumps and doing nothing in the air a few times before you attempt an iron cross. make sure you practice on the jumps with the biggest lineups of the best skiers, as you will learn from them and when you accomplish the iron cross manoever you will become one of them.
so, you want to have decent speed approaching the jump, but if your scared, dont go too fast. landing on the deck (skier-talk for the flat part of the jump before the landing) is absolutely fine. when you take off, you may want to "preload" your manoever, i.e. cross your skis slightly before you become airborne. when you are in the air, pretend you simultaneously get sack-tapped and have a long hard object rammed up you anus, but be happy about it. you can show this by punching your fists out, but DO NOT SMILE. make sure to bring your skis back to the french fry position before you land, as to avoind crashing. when you land, ski away and have no reaction. you are now a freestyle race expert
