Replying to New Idea- Birthdays

So, today is my birthday, and upon finding that my name had not appeared on the birthdays area of the home page, a new idea poped into my head.

Now, that area on the homepage, i personally think, is not sufficient. Why not, if possible, for one week surrounding the members borthday, put a speical sign next to their name? This could show other members it is the said members birthday today and they could message them, this could just make it a little more special.

Thoughts? Is it too hard to do?
