I know their have been threads about this but I wan't to know if I should get the kaos boot or the kreation boot. My dad told me that he will buy me the kreation boot but if I want the kaos that I need to pay the difference. So I wanted to know if I should pay the difference or should I keep my money and let my dad buy the kreation !?
it depends on your preference of boot, weight and height, where you will be using it, park only? previous boot experiences?
But I would man up and pay $100 because the Kaos is a far superior boot for everything.
Or, if you prefer a softer boot, use your $100 and buy an intuition liner, then you will have a far superior boot to the Pro and pay the same as the Kaos.
it depends on your preference. they made both boots, one for lower price, and also because some people like different features. saying one is a better boot really depends on the person and what they want out of the boots.
i would suggest you go to a shop and try them on. spend time on boots, they matter the most. try both on, different sizes n such, and get some adjustments done by a boot fitter if needed (go to a store that has one in the first place, dont waste your time at a general sports store where no one knows whats going on and you're given a boot 4 sizes too big so you can grow into them, ask them if they're a qualified boot fitter). it may be a little more expensive, but you'l be talking to someone that knows how to properly adjust/fit boots and what kind of boot you will be looking for with your foot. you can decide from there. if you buy the boot from the store with the bootfitter, most will fit/adjust it for free, for aslong as it takes to get the right fit. also, they should ask, but let them know where and what terrain you're skiing, and be open to other suggestions they may have about other similar companies/models. these suggestions will come based on the characteristics of your feet and how you ski.
Ya I almost only ski in the park. But I know what size to take and all I just need help to know if its worth the extra money .. Thanks to all of you.. + K
well if you know all that but not the model, best bet is to try em on. see which one you like best and go with it. ask for an opinion by the bootfitter if you need.
Do this. But also go into a shop with an open mind, you seem to set on these boots for my liking and you don't seem to be saying you've already tried them on. Have you?
i got the kaos last year and they were SICk. they give u such a oneness with your skis and feels like there is nothing between your feet and the skis... in my opinion the liners in the kaos are 100 times better than the kreation. if u want a softer flex boot, the kreation have an 70-80 flex while the kaos have have a 80-90 flex... go try them on in the shop and keep them on for a while take your time and find out what fits your feet better
