Problems with my Portable DVD!

Ok, so my portable DVD player turned off on me because of low battery. I tried a PSP charger in it and tested in for like 30 seconds and it worked.
So, I let it charge for a few hours, come back, and try it out. It works for like 10 minutes then the screen gets really white, but the picture (I was playing xbox through the DVD player) was still showing, but quite faded, in the background. I turn the DVD off, then back on, but it doesn't turn on. FUCK!

K, so, the DVD won't turn back on at all. Is it basic electronic knowledge that you should only use a charger that is specific to the item? Should I get the real charger and try charging it?

before you ever try to use a charger that is not made for the item, check and see what kinda charge it needs... like it should say 110 - 130 vl or something of that nature. then the charger you use should be in that range. If the charger says 150, you dont want to use it, but if it says 110 or 130, youre fine.
So check the charger and your dv and see whats up. If its fine, then its probably something with the connecter to the screen. Maybe you bumped it the wrong way.. who knows.
