first of all, why are you putting a dash between 'c' and 'op'? it's C.O.P.
second, c.o.p. has always been shit, the only good thing they have there right now is the pipe, and that's a relatively new addition.
you must have seen that article in freeskier, and suddenly decided that if it was in that JOKE of an article, it must be good. even though it's shit.

I love that place and am super stoked it is there. Living in Calgary is super awesome because I can get up and go ride a sick pipe, a nice medium mellow jump line, and tons of features every single morning. Which I often do. When the article came out, I was stoked, because now it has the opportunity to be even better. If you;re from here and can actually say that you can just stay home.

NOt only is the park incredibally fun, but its a good place for kids like the one this thread is made about to go learn how to be baller, and eat rad hot dogs.

i am from calgary, and i can actually say that, and i'm not going to just stay home because of it, because i'd rather drive for an hour and a half to Sunshine than drive 5 minutes up the hill to C.O.P.
the ONLY advantage C.O.P. has over Sunshine is that I could walk there if I wanted. as far as learning "how to be baller" goes, my 13 year-old sister can do everything this kid does, and she has only ever ridden at C.O.P. (in the winter) 3 times in her whole life. you can learn this shit anywhere, and you can eat hot dogs anywhere. 
and you didn't explain why you call c.o.p. "c-op"...if i told any of my friends i was going to hit up "see-awp" one day, they'd ask me what the fuck i'm talking about.
