i tried this a while back, best just to go to ebay and part together one from yakima or thule out of used parts, or try and find a whole unit, and even better yet.... craigslist. Also, not sure what rack you would need yakima q towers and clips are more for the newer cars w/o rain gutters, i don't know what else they got. What year is your car?

ok wow! '93 sorry bout that..... i might have something for you, we had it on a nissan 300zx (yes, you read that right, hahahaha) worked great, we traveled from southern PA to Whiteface (northern NY) and down to Mt. Tupper, and back home with these a long time ago, and they are just sitting down stairs. I'll see what I can find out for you then man
