Got my summit pass..

so i got a pass for breck, keystone, and abasin for $320, what does your season pass cost you?
i also have a steamboat, winterpark, copper pass for free through my mom because she works ski school.  anyone else get free passes?

unless i can pull off some magic it looks like I'm gonna be out about $500 for a student pass to Bristol.......

I've been riding for free for 7 years because I worked at the hill back home, but now, at college..... this is gonna hurt....

umm, well you dont get your pass till your mountain opens, aka no abasin early, though they do give out discount tickets, and opening week at breck is blacked out as is opening weekend at keystone, at least that's how it was last year. obviously its not blacked out if you're working during that day.

whoh, blackout dates on an employee pass? seriously? or is that just because the "employee" pass covers like 4 different mountains?


Back home the only blackout dates were the hours you were working, haha!

it's not that they have 5 mountains, it's that vail resorts isn't exactly the greatest employer. and i missed that keystone's second weekend was also blacked out.

summit pass has none, colorado pass has a few blackout dates at vail and beave during the holidays, and epic pass has no blackouts.

such a rip off! i'd be getting a loon pass if i hadn't moved to CU, where i got my epic pass for $570 no blackout dates to breck, keystone, a-basin, vail, beaver creek, and heavenly.

there are no blackout dates on the summit pass i believe. and brandon stop complaining about how much your SR/loaf pass costs. it'll be paid off after you ski for like, 5 days.

snoqualmie pass for $300. god colorado passes are so damn cheap. crystal mountain in washington, 1 mountain that doesnt compare to any in utah or colorado, costs over $1000 for a season pass. fucking ridiculous huh!

That sucks- i don't even understand that.  It seems like they wouldn' t even be that crowded that early.  It would make more sense to me to black out a date like MLK weekend or christmas week or something... or do they black those out also?  Definetly wasn't planning on spending money on tickets at vail resorts- that blows.

actually early season here is really crowded, cause there's usually only 1 run open and every gaper in colorado comes out cause they're excited about snow, but dont worry, they're burnt out on skiing by new years, and it's not bad once they start to open up the mountains.

blackout dates are during x-mas and new years, a time when it usually doesn't snow very much (and coverage is usually still a little thin) meaning there's not much use going to either vail or beaver creek...

so? even by skiing just 2 days during those blackout dates with the epic pass you'll have paid off the difference between it and the colorado pass. and i plan on doing this, jeaa

because my mom works for keystone and she got me a free epic pass... and im pretty sure there isnt any dates blacked out

$5.26 for my Cascade Mountain pass. No blackout dates. And with upwards of 450 vertical feet, I can make way more laps than all those crowded Summit County resorts.

All employee passes have blackout dates. "The customer always comes first." (Goddamnit, Aspen...)

I doubt your mom got you a "free" Epic Pass though. Maybe a discounted one. The Epic Pass has NO blackout dates since I mean they are like $500 now.
