i pressed some buttons by accident trying to take a screenshot and now my computer says everything i type or click on. its ridiculously obnoxious and i have no idea how to turn it off! halp!

( i tried restarting and it didn't do anything, its still on)

When you click on something, it actually tells you what you clicked on? Im not sure if I have this right, does it verbally say what you clicked on?

command? you mean the apple button? either way, fn, ctrl, option/alt, and the apple key + f5 aren't working.

and yeah, it says out loud every letter i type, and says everything i click on. it'll be like "newschoolers.com, free skiing's online community"

go to system preferences, then at the bottom theres a little microphone that says "speech" click on it. there'll be an option to turn it off

i just went to the apple site and found it in the discussion forums, pressing fn + apple + F5 fixed it.
