i have some anthems mounted with sth 12s but im kinda thinking of getting some sth 16s but becuase there is only one place i want to mount them (dead center obvs) im wondering if i could do it without drilling all new holes and using some of the ones i already have.
any chance this will work or am i just an idiot?

heel pattern is exactly the same but toe pattern is very different, the sth 12's have a triangle hole pattern, one in the front of the toe and two in the back, 16's have a square pattern so you will have to drill new holes for the toe but not the heel

Ya
what I would do though is just get some elmers glue on the toe piece and just try to estimate where you want it then stick the toe piece on, that should be fine, I did it with my bindings and they are great.
Hmm, interesting, I didn't know the hole pattern, but now I do, cool.

I'm not super learned on the STH series, but if it is anything similar to the S900 series(912 vs. 916) then there might be a 5th hole on the STH 16. I know on the S916's there is a 5th hole in there, but i am not sure on the STH's.

The STH 16s have five screws in the heel (read: very difficult to rip out), do the STH 12s have the extra screw in the heel plate as well? I'm under the impression that they don't.....

the 12 heel is the same as the 16 minus the spring, and don't mount your bindings yourself.

wood glue and a screwdriver to set the screws and then a screw gun at a very slow speed to crank them down
the heels are identical, the toes on the 12's have 3 holes, the toes on the 16's have 4, /thread

No, I mean just glue, way more bomber than screws.
Just squirt out some glue, slack them on the skis, and then go shred the gnar.

Wow, that weak attempt at sarcasm just crashed so hard and burned the thread down to the fucking ground.

ok thats what i thought it was so if i just used the back 2 holes from the triangle pattern could i just put 2 new holes in the front around the one that would already be there?

i'm pretty sure they're the same width, i can't tell, the 12's are on skis and the 16's are off but they look to be the same, you just need 2 new holes in the front of the toepiece
