How are they still in business?

I just got an email from them, I don't know how they got my email address. It appears they are opening epic new terrain to put up shittily made features. And to take on myspace they have echospace, that's not gay?

I've never been to Echo. Heard mixed things about it, it's either the best park or always crowded with horrible features. It doesn't seem like they get a lot of people up there to ride since it is just terrain. For the distance you might as well go to Loveland or even Breck.

Ive always had fun at echo.  If you can't have fun at echo, you obviously don't understand park skiing.  sure, the money might be better spent elsewhere, but that doesnt mean it isnt fun...

but on topic ive had some really cool days there and then some amazingly shitty days.  depending on how they do this year, your money might be better spent elsewhere...  but we'll have to see

i agree that i've always had fun there...but ive always been left wanting more...

if it's supposed to be an all-park mountain in an area with 2 of the best parks in the world in the area, it needs to raise the bar on their features so they can actually attract us there... i mean fuck, the light there is pretty dope most of the time, and ive caught some sick inversion in backdrops - they just need to step it up.

they just got a new park manager, and he's pretty legit.

echo really needs to change their policies if they want to improve things. first they had a policy last year where employees couldn't hit features while on the clock. this means that once park crew set up something, they couldn't test it out to make sure it's right.

No you are wrong.....I worked there last season, we could hit it with permission. And it was only when we had a coat on, so we could take our coat off and hit it. Also 3/4 of the park crew could not even hit a 20ft downbar to save their lives. So it was me along with a few other kids who could even hit the features.

that's still a bullshit policy, you shouldn't need to get permission or take off your jacket to test a feature.

That makes sense why shit is so fucked there, if their park crew can't hit something, they have no idea how it should be built.

Not really, It's called an Insurance policy, since hitting jumps, rails, ect..... is risky in itself, They don't want to have to pay workmans comp is one of their employees gets hurt on the job. Its a fairly smart idea to cover their ass if anything should happen.
