Replying to POV1 and Final cut express 4 help

Alright so let me start off by saying im not the most computer savy guy out there. This year i just picked up a POV1 helmet cam and Final cut express 4 so i can start making some edits. Im gonna spend plenty of time with the tutorials and already am but im having a problem that im sure is probably easily fixed im just to dumb to get it. Ive only recorded one little video with the pov1 and was trying to bring it into final cut. When i do its just a white screen while playing, if i go log and transfer with the pov1 logged into the computer i see the clip listed but i can't grab it and bring it in. Im assuming its just the wrong format or something, so what do i do? thanks for any help
