I dont mind the colors but some of them are so damn bright that i can't even read what people are writing

2 weeks ago I went to Outdoor school Camp with my grade.My teacher was in a Field talking to his Girlfriend at 11:30 pm, my friend and I were suspicious so we flashed a flaslight in the eyes of my teacher and they were closed. if its too bright for you then just lower the brightness on your monitor...most monitors have little buttons on the front to do so

Of those who have LCD monitors....do you notice any difference in how 'blind' you are after staring at your screen for long periods of time (compared to normal CRT monitors?)

I know what you mean. That's why LCD screens aren't as good for gaming and stuff cause you're generally going to be looking at the screen for a longer period of time.
