i just drummed for an hour
and i'm so stoked
just killing that double bass and the deafening china roaring in your ears
makes me wish for the feeling you get after you tap the s rail that has been staring you down
or slay that one cliff on KT-22 that you have always dreamed about
just the thrill of doing what you love
nothing compares

I can't really drum, but i've recently taken up the bongos. I always try to use the percussion instruments in skool and then i get yelled at.

I hate being at school, I can't play here. The kit at my house back home is actually my brother's, so I can't bring it with me, and I only go home for Christmas.
When you're playing with friends and getting into, you can easily play for 4 or 5 hours in a row. I did that this summer. So fun. In my opinion (I may get hate for this), it's more enjoyable than skiing. I play guitar as well, and when I'm playing guitar with my friend who is an excellent bassist, and someone who drums well, and we're just going off, that is also the most excellent feeling.

I can see that. I've had times where drumming was better than skiing, but most of the time, skiing is better for me. Doing architectural design stuff can be better than architecture too sometimes.

I'm talking about the times when all the stars are aligned, everyone is playing well, and you're just totally in the moment.
If I had to choose between staying home and playing the drums, and skiing on any given day, I'd go ski of course.

are you talking about nose to fingers on KT? because that's huge an i dont know if ill ever grow a pair big enough to mach it into that gap. you drummed for just an hour? get a bassist and guitarist you can jam for 3 easily and time will fly it's crazy how fast time flies when youre jamming.

can you read one post without picking it apart?
i am not trying to brag about playing drums for an WHOLE HOUR
i have drummed for 2 hours straight like it's nothing
I also play with 3 bands and when everyone is together it is the sickest feeling
drums aren't even my main instrument
i drum all the time, but guitar is where i found myself
better than skiing a hundred times over
All times are Eastern (-5)
