I'm probably gonna buy an 8.5, but i don't know what trucks to buy. Anyone know what sizee i should get? I think 8.5 tucks would be really wide and heavy.

i skate an 8.5 creature on 7.5 destructos since i didnt have the money to buy new trucks. its really really fun, and 7.5 is big enough for mini and bowls and stuff. if you skate street then def get a narrower deck, but for ramps its awesome

looks super weird, doesnt feel nearly as weird as you would think. ive skated a lot of different widths, and this is the one that im happiest with.

I'd go with 8.25 indys for sure. that way if you wanna size down u can. i rocked an 8.5 for a bit then i sized back down to my norm 8.25. i rock 8.0 indys on mine and they work great. you'll probably wanna get some doh doh's tho cuz the indy bushings are kinda gay. oh make sure you get a creature skateboard NHS pwns really hard.

i got an 8.1 somethin, and its awesome, skating mini ramps and stuff is so much better than on a super narrow board, and for everything its so much easier to catch and keep your feet from slipping off, my friend has an 8.25 i think, so 8.5 wouldnt be too bad, it would be so sick for bowls and stuff, and if thats all your doin then why not? but you could just go with something around 8 and its gonna be good enough

hahahha yea, but a wide ass board is sick for carving and such in bowls...it picks its path and just rips...so much fun

i'm a horrible ramp/bowl skater, i can basically only do street gaps and hubbas etc.

My brother has an old skool Powell board (square tail, sharp nose, and rails!) that has to be at least 8.5...but that's only fun for bowls and crap.
I skate mostly pipe, and I think 7.75 is best, even for street. Unless you have mondo feet.

I'm riding an 8.12 right now and I don't feel like it's big enough, besides it's just a try.

i just got a consolidated 8" board the other day and i used to never go above 7.75. im lovin the wider board but anyway 7.75 trucks might work even on an 8.5... dont wana get too heavy.
