You'll get a discount on your policy because you're insuring multiple cars, assuming you insure them both through the same company. As long as they are not brand new or sports cars it shouldn't be too bad. 4x4 trucks are fairly cheap to insure. What ya got????

i have an 02 stratus which is under my parents plan. so its like 300 per six months..and im thinking about getting an older civic like 92-99

its much easier and you'll get the exact answer
its probably cheaper if you can keep the car under your parents and just pay them the amount

i'm paying my own and it sucks, i shell out roughly 150 a month for a 98 ford taurus, but if i take it off the road, for each month after i do hat it is like 50 bucks a month. so pretty soon i'll do that and then bring it out on the road for ski season

my 98 civic type-r (JDM EK9) costs me 35$ per month and im 16... so shouldnt be that bad for you

i'm guessing you only have incidental insurance (where pretty much anything that is your fault = car totaled and the insurance company only has to pay to fix the other guys car)

well i called the insurance company on the phone, and they gave me a good price because my parents' cars were insured with them.
and yes, i only have civil responsability, so i f my car is totaled, they don't pay for it.
