i am 15 and i worked over the summer for a music store under the employment of my town with their youth employment program. every time i got my paycheck, i lost tax money to FICA medicare and i was wondering knows from experience whether a minor can be exempt of these bills? i don't feel like going to town hall to ask, so does anybody here know whether i can file a legit tax return on this?
