Back protectors?

I saw the slytech one in Freeskier, and was wondering if there are more or better ones.
I'm really just looking for some input on how they feel and what not, cause I have back problems from breaking myself, but I don't want it to compromise my flexibility or mobility. any help is appreciated.

Forcefield are one of the few flexible ones that are still protective. Might be European only though.

my threads.

i have been thinkin about gettin one after a really good friend of mine crashed in a motorcycle accident and now is paralyzed from the waist down... hes my age! (19)... sad shit i dont wanna be in his shoes.

my friend has one althought he mostly used only for skier cross
its last years poc one
it weighs like nothing is super flexible and apparently is pretty comfortable
i dunno if that helps ya or not

I got one made by six six one that looks like this one:

it's for snow and is amazing. Not bulky at all... I think they're on sale on the six six one website.
