Tramdock - PX12 Jibs

Did anyone just grab a pair of these bindings from Tramdock?  I got some and I'm pretty stoked about it, can stop skiing on shitty M11s in the park now.  Nice price at 92 bucks as well!  Only thing I'm worried about is the brake width - apparently they're default at 80 and my Fujatives are 85 mm, would they be easy to bend, or would it be best to just buy a new set of brakes?

hey man i might pick up some myself but thepx12s came in a package with bluhouse MR wich are 95 at the waist so maybe they are bigger....

^^ I thought Foils had a 78 mm waist, but you're the one that has the skis.

rossi brakes must run a little wider than they say they are. because my FKS 120s have a 75 brake width and i fit them on my AR6 which have a 86 waist. no bending.

a lot of shops would be willing to trade brakes with you, its not really a big deal and super easy to swap em out

Goddamn.  Did you nab them from Sierra Ski?  They're listing FKS 120s @ $159.95 sale price but they're sold out.

i just bought them too, don't worry about the kids hating on here. px12 is a solid binding for park, 100 bucks for a binding that should last a while with sick colors is totally worth it.

anyone know if i should mount with the shock pads?

yeah. i dont know that they really absorb that much shock, but the 1mm wont make a difference in your skiing, and that way you dont have to fuck with the screws

anyone know if i could put these on 08/09 blends and just deal with them? i want the cheapest binding i can get thats still decent...i wouldnt ski much park with them

eeeeeh thats iffy. you MIGHT be able to bend em but 80 to 100 is pushing it. they would prolly break, or would just be waaaaay to short.

honestly? once you bend them theres a very good chance they can break because your making em weaker than they were before. and theyd be short. in theory it should work though but thats really pushing the limit.

ooooh. i mean i love em. i have never had a problem with mine. they have released only when they were supposed to for me except for one time when i caught an edge on a rail and it popped off. but thats the only bad release ive ever had.

but i'd be using them for all-mountain/ec pow, would it make a difference? it doesnt seem like bindings can be all that oriented towards one type of skiing but i know i'm wrong...

they will be fine lol. the jib version is better than the lifter cuz they take up less space on the ski, so the ski will flex better. youll be fine. unless you weigh a shitload.
