it allows people to talk about things without having retarded 12 year olds get in the way. its also sweet cause you can keep in touch with people from a specific area or with specific hobbies.

some people may join cults cuz of popularity or whatever. but some of them are for real, if u wanna talk about something with a group of people who you know will also wanna tlak about it, then u join a cult, and avoid all the pointless comments by people who have no idea what they are talking
