lol if it has ruined your life or has been a "life killer" you people are seirously fucked up already...i've owned and played the game off and on for over a couple years now...i have two lvl 70;s a pally and warlock...and never once has the game affected my school work, social life, sports..relationship...i'm a freshmen in college right now...in highschool i played baseball and football and skied all winter and partied it up and i played the game when ever i could
its like saying call of duty 4 is a life killer...why can't you sit down and play the game for an hour and then do something else? everyone assumes everyone who plays WoW plays for 8 hours straight...yes there are some...but there are those people with every game, CoD4, madden, need for speed, anything.

Ill be honest, I can not play games casually. During the school year I simply dont play games, because I just cant accept playing every once in a while and inevitably sucking. I mostly play FPS, where once you are good its like riding a bike, but as soon as I jump back in a competetive match I start making mistakes and im pretty much like well I hate playing bad so im going to play a shitload. As for WoW, well when I played you needed to play a shitton to have the best character, so as soon as college rolled around I knew I had to quit.
Props if you can handle it, and youre shitting yourself if you say it hasnt effected the rest of your life, but for me, I just can not play games, and especially MMOs casually~

played this game religiously all through high school, but knew it had to stop this year as id be a freshman in college. havent played since school started and let me tell you, its fucking awesome. i used to think, eat, and breathe wow all day long. it was all id think about and made it hard to pay attention in class. yeah, i was addicted. but since ive stopped playing i havent done any of that, and its amazing what other things i have found to waste my time...hell i took up racquetball and i love the sport. if i was still playing wow i probably wouldnt have gone out and played it. yeah i was an extreme case, but now that its solved im much better. PS, 70 shammy, 70 mage, 70 pally..raided in 2 different guilds with the pally and mage. yeah i was busy

Yeah WOW is a pretty fun game, but I can actually restrain myself and play it casually. I haven't really played it in a little while, in fact I don't even have any time on my account.
