I think a skier shouldnt buy a burton pant! There are so much sick brands that are involved in the ski industry, support them with your money.

Eh, I've hard AK is good too, but DNA is probably better. I always buy ski brands but if a board brand had a higher quality product for cheaper I doubt I'd hesitate to buy it. Unfortunately Oakley is going downhill, at least this year their stuff really isn't impressive at all.

i think it doesn't matter as long as you're getting a quality product at a fair price. you sound like a scene kid saying not to buy designer clothes because they're not "core" or whatever.

I just bought some Ronin Cargo Pants - so nice. Oakley is definitely going downhill. I've never seen so many tears in a pair of pants after 18 days.

normally i would say do what ever floats your boat but i will say after two years of Burton pant i would STRONGLY suggest staying far away as possible they suck they rip and is brutal get 686 or special blend or nomis if you want snowboard steeze Burton quality is going down fast.

WTF!! I'm just sitting here typing and all of a sudden this big spider lookin motherfucker just rolls right up from under my desk onto my keyboard. Real friendly character though, I played with him for a bit then put him away in a corner. I think it was a mosquito eater or something. That was weird.

I just got last years 2L cyclic in orange. Fit is definitely baggy, about the same as oakley for the pants, maybe a tad shorter. The jacket is not quite as baggy, and a tad short as well. I got L and am 6'.

AK stuff is really nice, but its overpriced, skip the 09s and pick up last years from backcountry or backcountryoutlet.
Check ebay too, always lots of AK stuff for sale cheap.
